(N.C. Pickle Festival Homestyle Chili Cookoff)

Presented by First South Bank and Goldsboro News Argus

We debuted our first International Chili Society-sanctioned chili cookoff in 2016. In 2017 our winner, Mike Singleton of Havelock, NC, placed in the Top 10 and earned honorable mention at the international level during the World  Chili Cookoff!  So yep, we are looking forward to an even bigger and better competition for 2018…

We are expanding the categories and the competition dates. Homestyle competitors will square off on Friday evening, April 27. Teams competing in Traditional Red Chili, People’s Choice Traditional Red Chili, and Salsa will vie for honors on Saturday, April 28.
