Each year at the North Carolina Pickle Festival, the Mt. Olive Pickle Company sponsors a Student Art Show. This art show encourages students from the area to submit their work and throughout its time, has resulted in some fantastic pieces that highlight the talent in our community.

Mt. Olive has bought and gathered its favorite student works each year to hang throughout the company. It actually has some 20-year old pieces dating back to 1996!

The art show is a staple event in the NC Pickle Festival line-up as it brings the community together to celebrate the students’ talents. The competition is categorized by grades including: K-2, 3-5, Middle School, and High School. Each year we look forward to seeing the creative work from these students.

A huge thanks goes to the art teachers who help coordinate the student work and deliver it to the festival for judging.

Here’s to future generations of artists and NC Pickle Festival fans. We’re already looking forward to seeing what these students create in 2017.
