Art ContentThe N.C. Pickle Festival is in need of a few really good volunteers…Okay, more than a few. It takes a lot of good people to make a great festival like this happen each year.

We have a number of volunteer positions available, and you can see a sample list below. These positions, and others, will be assigned by the Volunteer Coordinator on an “as needed” basis when volunteers check in.

The details:

We need high school and college students, as well as adults. Students should be at least 16.

Volunteers receive a N.C. Pickle Festival t-shirt to wear while they work as well as string bags. A shout out to Volunteer Sponsors Piggly Wiggly and Pizza Village!

We provide certificates to document community service hours for students who need them at the end of their shift. Volunteers are needed on Friday, April 28 as well as on the festival main day Saturday, April 29.

Sample jobs include:

Distribute Festival maps & schedule of events to Festival patrons; Run errands as needed; Assist with handicapped parking; Work in the Information booth; Assist with vendor area assignments; Assist with placing signs and banners around town; Help with Special Events –Pickle Packing Production Challenge, Mascot Race, Chili Cookoff, Student Art Contest, and more!
